Today is the last Monday...
So we stuffed the day full with everything we could...Perhaps too much as we fall into our beds tonight, completely knackered (tired).
The morning was spent collecting any last souvieners. The afternoon included a ventured through Kelvingrove park to the Kelvin Grove Art Muesum--where the famous Salvador Dali painting of Jesus is hanging. It is also the most visited (or at least second most visited) museum in the UK--if I have my facts correct. We decided that in order to see everything properly, you would need at
least three days. (http://www.glasgowmuseums.com/)
The evening: We went to an authentic Italian restaurant and
then to the pictures--cinema--to see the film: "Becoming Jane".
It was a great day!
PS: The park, museaum and this area of Glasgow are named after Lord Kelvin--the mathematician who developed the laws of thermodynamics and the scale of absolute temperature (i.e. degrees Kelvin), among other contributions. Learn more at: http://www.rampantscotland.com/famous/blfamkelvin.htm
