This number troubles me... especially considering that while this money helps support the families of our troups and those who are veterans and provides health care...for which I don't have a problem...
... it also helps destroy people in other parts of the world, increase weaponry, and kills our own people too...which for me is a problem.
What's even more troubling to me is that the manner in which money is spent--whether by people personally or institutions coorporately--tells about the "spender's" priority. In this case, it seems that making war, maintaining power, and manipulating
Therefore, I invite you to consider with me how your own spending habits indicate your priorities as mine do mine, and the same for our country.
Pondering my priorities...
Purposefully re-evaluating my spending...
Hoping for change...
