Today marks the third day of my trip to Cologne. I have had a couple of days holiday here, and will start work again tonight---though a different sort of work. I am here to take part in the German festival: Kirchentag, which runs from June 6-10. Then I will venture to the Netherlands to see my friend Saskia.
Yesterday my friend Laura and I wandered around the city, venturing to the Rhine and to find some souveners (spelling?). Everything is in German, and this gets a bit exhausting sometimes. So we treated ourselves to dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe! Hooray! Pictures to come when i return home.
